Selective Nerve Root Blocks
The selective nerve root block procedure consists of injecting a small dose of steroid and numbing medication around a particular nerve root/spinal nerve as it exits the spinal cord. This procedure is applicable to the cervical (neck), thoracic (chest), and lumbar (low back) regions.
