Board Certified in Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Pain MedicineIsmail Alhamrawy, M.D., is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician and the owner and attending physician at Spine and Joint Pain Center, LLC. His clinical focus includes pain management, musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions, rehabilitation medicine, and functional assessment.
Dr. Alhamrawy completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and additional postgraduate training at The Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Stony Brook University Hospital, and Maimonides Medical Center. He approaches pain care with an emphasis on restoring function, mobility, and quality of life through individualized evaluation and treatment planning.
Through a rehabilitation-centered approach, Dr. Alhamrawy evaluates pain in the context of function and mobility and develops individualized treatment plans based on the patient's clinical findings and functional goals.
Dr. Ismail Alhamrawy performs a range of interventional pain management and musculoskeletal procedures, including epidural steroid injections, facet and sacroiliac joint injections, nerve blocks, and ultrasound-guided joint injections.
He also provides PRP and viscosupplementation injections and EMG/nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS) as part of the evaluation and treatment of spine, joint, and nerve-related conditions.
