Addiction Treatment

Suboxone and Subutex Vivitrol Injection Sublocade Injection

At Spine and Joint Pain Center, we provide specialized treatment for individuals facing challenges with Alcoholism, Opioid, or Substance Abuse. We understand that each person's path through addiction is distinct, which is why we tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of every patient. Our office offers a range of services including:

Suboxone and Subutex

Both Suboxone and Subutex are approved by the FDA for treating opiate addiction. The main difference is that Suboxone contains both buprenorphine and naloxone, while Subutex only contains buprenorphine. Buprenorphine is considered a Schedule III substance, meaning it has a lower risk of abuse. As a result, buprenorphine is often seen as a safer choice for opiate addiction treatment when compared to methadone.

Vivitrol Injection

Vivitrol is a long-lasting injection containing naltrexone, a medication used to treat Opioid Use Disorder and Alcohol Use Disorder (alcoholism). It is a crucial part of a complete treatment strategy, assisting those with alcohol or opioid dependence in managing cravings and preventing relapse.

Sublocade injection

SUBLOCADE, an extended-release injection of buprenorphine, is prescribed for patients with moderate to severe opioid use disorder who are already receiving treatment with a buprenorphine-containing product. After a minimum of 7 days of dose adjustment, SUBLOCADE can be integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan that includes counseling and psychosocial support. Patients who are not appropriate for outpatient treatment may be advised to consider intensive outpatient or in-patient programs.
